Being Human
Asking why creates a critical mind that can create a strong character. The banking system makes students robots. Asking why makes students humans. The way one asks questions can shape conformity. One who questions things can make a skill, a skill that does not accept a society with norms to guide paths. The knowledge one can obtain by asking questions is the type of knowledge that is crucial. Knowing facts and creating opinions based on that can create a unique opinion.
In America we have history that is hidden and ignored, why? Why are certain groups targeted? All these questions lead to the realization of oppression and the fact that people with power don't want minorities to progress. This knowledge leads to people proving stereotypes and oppressors wrong. The life of an educated human is achieved through “why.” This human cares for the ones who are ignored and liberates others. Asking "why" is a way of being an activist, of being human.
